Capabilities

Tool Design:

Production tools are normally machined from solid aluminum plate. Machined tools leave the best surface finish and can be textured to suit your application. Cast aluminum tools may be less expensive, but do to cast porosity they do not texture well and may leave a poor surface finish. Aluminum tools with water lines can provide excellent temperature control to produce a quality product.

Prototypes:

Prototype parts can be made many ways. Throw away rubber tools made from a pattern or a unfinished cast tool can be economical to test a product. Machining a part from a block of urethane can give you chance for testing your design. We can work with your engineers to accomplish your needs.

Substrates:

Metal substrates can be molded into urethane products. For example, threaded inserts for assembly, metal stampings for support or extra strength. Tubing to make a pathway for wiring or inplace assemble. Your freedom to design.
